According to data from the European Electric Car Study, a subscription industry report published monthly, the combined brands of Geely, including Volvo Cars, Polestar, Smart, Lotus and Zeekr saw their combined volumes come second to only Volkswagen Group during April commanding 12.7% of all new pure electric passenger cars registered across the West European region. Volvo's SEA2-based, and Chinese manufactured EX30 model contributed just over 8,000 units to Geely Group's volumes resulting in it becoming the region's second most registered BEV model during April, behind Tesla's Model Y.
